Denver Chalk Art Festival artists are the stars of the show, and we do our best to treat them like VIPs.

The festival includes more than 200 professional, amateur and student artists from around the country – most from Colorado.

Participation is free for all artists and pastels are provided. All Denver Chalk Art Festival artists receive complimentary breakfast and lunch both days of the festival. Additionally, artists are invited to the festival's VIP/Patron party on Saturday evening.

'2007 was the first time I ever participated in Denver Chalk Art Festival, and it was one of the highlights of that summer. I don't consider myself a performance artist, but getting out there in the crowd really revved me up. I encourage any artist- performance or otherwise to consider being a part of this event.
