Volunteer Participation

Event Days/Hours:
June 6, 10 am – 10 pm
June 7, 10 am – 7 pm

Volunteers are the backbone which allows LAA to put on La Piazza. Volunteering is a great way to get behind the scenes and involved in one of Denver’s most exciting events. The event would simply not happen without a strong group of volunteers just like you!

The following is a list of policies, positions and perks you will receive as a volunteer:

Attendance
We depend on your commitment to participate. Your presence and prompt arrival for your scheduled shifts is absolutely necessary. VERY IMPORTANT: If your schedule must change, or if you have an emergency, please contact us with as much advance notice as possible.

Arrivals & Breaks
Check in at the Artist Pavilion Tent 15-minutes prior to each shift you work. You will receive a brief training on your area at the start of your shift. Volunteer leaders will rotate through each area to provide breaks during your shift. Please do not leave your area without someone to take over your position. We do not have a secure place to store your valuables, so please only bring items that can be kept with you at all times.

Official Event T-shirt
Every volunteer receives a Volunteer T-shirt when checking in at the Volunteer Tent. This shirt must be worn while you are working at the event. Please do not make any alterations to your T-shirt while you are volunteering.

Beverages
Volunteers will have access to plenty of cold water and soda during their shift.

Groups
LAA will make every attempt to keep groups together if desired. Please let us know if there’s anyone you wish to work with when you register.
